I just wanted to let everyone know that I have posted the new RVCC history video online. You can view is by visiting our new site. It is a pretty neat video with interviews from the founding members and pictures from way back when. I’m especially pleased with how decent it turned out since I did the whole thing, filming and editing, in three days after most of the original footage was TAPED OVER! Just thought you all should check it out.

In every man’s life there comes a time when there is nothing he would rather do than kick and punch a few other dudes around, and for me and a couple of my friends, that time was this week. You see, as part of a lesson plan for a youth group meeting Wes had the idea to make a video to go along with the lesson “Show me your moves!” So, a couple of us guys took some time to show off our awesome karate moves and document it. We were helped along the way by a second degree blackbelt that attends our church, and she had all sorts of cool things for us to play around with (as you will see in the video).

I found this to be a great way to relase my frustrations and inner tension and I think we should seriously consider doing this on a weekly basis now. Anyway, I hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it.
